The 2025 Program opens April 15th to receive applications. Deadline for applications is August 15th, 2025. Results will be communicated to applicants by the end of the first week in September 2025.

CNPA of Manitoba Sponsored Bursaries
Harvey Hosfield Bursary: The CN Pensioners Association of Manitoba sponsors the Harvey Hosfield Bursary Program for the children and grandchildren of members in good standing. As of 2016, this program now includes the children and grandchildren of Associate members as well. CNPA Trade Bursary: The CN Pensioners Association of Manitoba was pleased to introduce the CNPA Trade Bursary in 2017. The intent of this Bursary is to assist financially in the educational pursuit and career development of families of the supporting members of the CN Pensioners Association of Manitoba. To learn more about these programs we encourage you to have your children or grandchildren visit our website. Please note that we will only be accepting applications via email for all two (2) programs. CNPA National Council Sponsored Scholarships
The National Council of CN Pensioners Association sponsors several scholarship awards each year to the children and grandchildren of members in good standing. Please visit https://www.cnpensioners.org and click on the Scholarship tab for more information as well as the Application Form and Terms and Conditions. Formerly known to many of you as Johnson Insurance, Belair Insurance Company will be awarding 50 scholarships each valued at $1,000 to students completing high school in 2024 and who will attend a post-secondary educational institution in Canada in the fall of 2024.
Children and grandchildren of contributing members of the CN Pensioners Association are eligible to apply. Members do not need to have a policy with Belair in order for their children or grandchildren to apply. The program opens for applications on May 15th, 2024.
